Evil Naoki dream hits Russia
I am highly amused by the fact that someone who speaks Russian (I suppose they’re not necessarily Russian, but I didn’t want to clog up the title with “Evil Naoki dream hits Russian-speaking country”) linked to my post about by Evil Naoki dream: Miharu-chan’s diary.
Babel Fish presented a fairly readable translation of at least some of the comments, so have fun!
I’ve now been quoted on a Japanese blog (taken from an ANN discussion) and a Russian blog. I love how connected the world is. Now to get around to taking Russian lessons someday…Too bad my CD-ROMs that I bought to learn a few words were stolen in the break in. I still remember nyet though.
Princess Nine — Episode 13
Once again I watched two episodes in a row, but this time I really don’t feel like discussing both. Episode 12 was nice enough, but didn’t really have anything worth writing about. Besides, I still feel awful. I’m only writing this because I need to wait for my anti-virus to stop running its check before I start on my homework (I like to let it run at least once a week, and today’s its lucky day, I guess.)

Princess Nine — Episodes 10 & 11
I feel awful. I think I’ve got a cold or maybe even a slight case of the flu. It could also be allergies, except I don’t think I have any (and I think I got whatever I’ve got from my husband.)
Anyway, didn’t feel like there was just a ton to say individually for episode 10, so I’m doing another combination post.

Paradise Kiss Manga
Well, I was awfully wide awake at 8 a.m. this morning. That’s always a good thing, although I woke up due to noise (to protect the innocent, I won’t say what noise.) You know you’ve spent too much time reading Paradise Kiss recently when you find yourself actually buying some new clothes, and some of them without a specific purpose (work, casual, etc.) Then again, I could use a fairly major clothing overhaul, so this was probably for the best. Thank you ParaKiss!
Princess Nine — Episodes 8 & 9
Well, since I watched these in a row (while riding my exercise bike), I think I’ll just discuss them together. It almost works out best that way anyway. Random aside, my husband watched episode 9 with me. He thought it was charming too. He might watch a bit more with me in the future (although I think he’s hesitant to commit because of his problems with burn out recently).
Princess Nine — Episode 7
The s.o. went to work, but I’m not sure how long that’ll last. Meanwhile, I need to hurry up and shower before my online class. Why? Because I’m sweaty from riding while watching again, and I don’t want to sit her stinking for 2 hours. I wish I had either started earlier or that I didn’t have class this week–I’d keep right on riding and watching if I had the time. I might just hop back on this afternoon once I finish my errands and chores.

Paradise Kiss — Volume 4
Even if I don’t have work tomorrow and only have an online class that isn’t until 9:30 a.m., I really should get to sleep soon. I want to wake up and prepare the s.o.’s lunch and get my kiss goodbye. I just realized I might not get my good night kiss tonight. That really upsets me. I’ll have to make sure I get it. I can’t stand the thought of not having it, it feels like it would be a curse.

PK Double Take
…just opened volume 4 of Paradise Kiss. Anyone care to explain just who AL Yazawa is? Talk about a typo from hell. It’s the title page! You know how many catlogers are going to have to add extra notes to bibliographic records because of this? Little brackets will be flying up everywhere! I have no problems with typos in text, they happen. But the title page? Changing a woman to a man? Come on!
Oh, and since it’s probably not obvious, I’m really just having a good laugh at this.

The s.o.’s in bed sick, so I’m plugging on through my ParaKiss. I shouldn’t finish tonight (it’s time for me to be thinking about sleep), but I’m having fun as I go along anyway!
