Kino’s Journey — Episode 8
I’m not exactly sure what to make of this episode. It lacked the certain spark of the preceding 7.
Kodocha — Episode 5
I’m going to take a moment and rant about Funimation’s trailers. You can’t skip them. Sure, you might be able to skip them if you have certain buttons on your remote (I believe I’ve heard alternate angle works), but next chapter, fast forward, and menu are useless–and those are the only options on my remote. Plus, what in the heck is up with putting Samurai 7 previews on a Kodocha DVD? Err…huh?
Shakugan no Shana
Well, I have finally completed this series. It took a lot of effort on my part, but in a sense I’m glad to have done it. Why? Because it gives me a little insight into a type of anime I don’t normally watch (and after this, probably will continue to avoid watching much of it.)

Shakugan no Shana — Episode 23
This is a quintessential action episode. Not much happens, except for lots of fighting. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing at all.

Kino’s Journey — Episodes 6 & 7
Since this was all just one story in two parts, I’ll combine my post as well.

Kodocha — Episode 3
Yes! An episode without any muted dialog (aside from the next episode preview, of course.)
