Eureka Seven
There are some series that are fantastic throughout. They lack bad episodes, they are filled with motivation, and they are extremely rare–and in some ways lacking for the lack of flaws. Plus, they’re generally less than 15 episodes long. Then there are the series that go the distance. Two seasons, four seasons, 5 years worth of seasons…there is much more potential for bad episodes in these. There are always more flaws, whether it’s a stretch of filler, a batch of cheap animation, pacing problems, or what have you. However, these still tend to be series that can grip you if you push past those flaws.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha–Episode 10
Managed to sneak in an episode before work yesterday. Hoping to sneak in episode 11 after work this afternoon, but time will tell.

Eureka Seven–Episodes 31-38
I’ve started a new job this week, so writing about Eureka Seven has fallen off. Early on, it was due to the episodes being a bit too technical (not bad, but more informative than imaginative) so I didn’t have much to say. Then I just got too busy. So I present random points that came up in my head during the past 8 episodes in no particular order.
Magical Lyrical Nanoha–Episode 6
I’ll admit, I didn’t pay a whole lot of attention to this episode. It was definitely an episode where I’d already seen it all before.

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha–Episode 4
While the first couple of episodes drew me in, my attention is already beginning to wane.

Eureka Seven–Episodes 27-30
Quickie post here…which is bizarre, because these have been my favorite episodes yet, it’s just…too good. Long posts from writing criticisms…good stuff just leaves me feeling glowing, happy, and less capabable of writing.
Oh, and because of this DVD being two straight great ones in a row…yeah, placed my order with Right Stuf. Gah, it’ll be a week before I get to see anymore. Agony!

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha–Episode 2
Creepiness factor of zero in this episode, I’m impressed. They even skipped her transformation scene…yeah, going to have to stay open-minded with this one.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha–First Look
Okay, a quickie post about the latest series I’ve started (in order to keep me from steaming too quickly through Eureka Seven as it’ll be quite a few days before I get in another disc of it.)

Eureka Seven–Episode 25 & 26
Am I allowed to get mad at E7 for getting good? Because I almost feel anger towards it. I mean, not really, but at the same time, the past five episodes have been bloody brilliant, which makes me all the more bitter about the stretch of episodes that I didn’t like.
