I’ve really got to finish catching up with my blog postings on this series. I’m not letting myself watch anymore until I catch up, and it’s tearing me up, as I’d really like to more! It’s just a great little series.

Emma — Episode 3
I actually watched this two or three weeks ago, but I’m only just now sitting down to type out my thoughts from handwritten notes. School overtook the life briefly–which means the third DVD of the series has been waiting for me to watch it almost as long as these notes have been waiting to be posted. I’m not sure I can wait much longer to get on to the next episodes, I’m thoroughly enjoying this series too much to have anymore patience.

I’m just going to start by saying how much I love the historical touches put into the series. In particular the scene where in the background you can see the street lamps being lit completely made my day.

Emma — Episode 1
I don’t normally write a “First Look” and an “Episode 1″ post (aside from during my Fullmetal Alchemist rewatch, have I ever written an “Episode 1″ post?) However, Emma has captured my attention in unexpected ways, and I feel a need to write about each episode. I’ve even been screencapping them, something I’ve never done before.
